WELCOME TO
ARROWSMITH INDEPENDENT SCHOOL
We are a new education option in District 69 on beautiful Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. With options for Preschool to Grade 7, we offer strong academics with practical life skills, small class sizes, and outdoor education.
We thrive on ensuring that all students feel safe, respected and accepted. Our small class sizes support each student to be inspired, engaged, and challenged, bringing out the best in each one of them. Using a hands-on approach to teaching, we involve students in their education by sparking their curiosity and motivation to learn without the use of technology.

Located in the Coombs/Whiskey Creek/Qualicum Beach Area, our Main School and Preschool reside on Hilliers Road South. We are 5 minutes from the Coombs Market/Goats on the Roof, 8 minutes from Qualicum Beach, and 15 minutes from Parksville.

Arrowsmith Independent School has partnered with The Hamilton Marsh Society to be ambassadors for the beautiful wetland that lives across the street from our school. We are committed to actively discovering ways to "Think Globally, and Act Locally".
By connecting our school to our local regions, and protecting our natural resources for the future, our students have opportunities to be good stewards of the land where we live. This connection continues to be a big part of their adult lives later on.
